Here at Giffen Memorial Elementary School, our mission is to develop students’ natural gifts and abilities and help them to become independent thinkers and leaders in their community.
As a community school, we provide students with a robust curriculum and student-centered instruction, and work extensively with our community providers.
Through these community partnerships, we seek to not only uplift our students but also support our families.
We have a health based clinic on site, regular visits from a dental van, a variety of after school enrichment opportunities and provide access to the Giffen laundromat.
They say it takes a village to raise the child, and this belief holds fast in our approach to educating our students each and every day at Giffen Memorial Elementary.
Giffen is a Community School, which functions as neighborhood centers providing additional support and services to students and families during and beyond the regular school day. For more information on services and programs we offer, please contact:
